Maddie McCarthy is single, between jobs, and (oh, the shame) lives with her mother. To make matters worse, she's the maid of honor for her sister's wedding, and desperately needs a date. Then she sees her salvation—Match Made Easy, a service for women in Maddie’s exact position. If she can't find a boyfriend, she'll do the next best thing...

Hire one.

Trent Montgomery isn't actually part of Match Made Easy. He's just doing a favor for his cousin, but one look at the blonde who hired him, and he's totally hooked. Now Maddie thinks that the attraction sizzling between them is just “part of the package.” And Trent is running out of time to prove to her that her date-for-hire might just be her happily-ever-after...

I received a copy of this book, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. In no way did this sway either my review or my rating.

This will probably end up being an extremely short review. I really wanted to like this book, but unfortunately I did not. I struggled to get into it and never really accomplished that but I kept pushing in hopes that it would get better.

I absolutely fell in love with the blurb and I feel like that's about the only thing I did fall for. I mean, Trent and Maddie were okay characters, but really just okay is as best as I can do. And the secondary characters I couldn't even go that far with. One of them was even stab worthy.

I guess I could say that the execution of the storyline was just in the okay category as well. I feel like, though, at times the dialogue was really mucking it up. It was either awkward or just didn't feel right.

Don't get me wrong. This book did have it's moments where I would start to appreciate it but it never really stuck. I cared just enough to see how it ended but then insta-love reared it's ugly head and I was finally lost forever.

I truly, truly wanted to love this book as much as I loved that blurb. Unfortunately my feelings were just lukewarm. I wish I had better things to say.

Thanks to Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.
